The iPhone 13 Pro is one of the most desirable smartphones around the world and everyone wants to own it. Since its high price restricts that, Chinese smartphone makers often find it easy to clone the iPhone 13 series and sell it to the segment that loves budget smartphones. LeTV had recently cloned the iPhone 13 with its LeTV Y1 Pro, which was announced back in May 2022. Now though, it went ahead and cloned the iPhone 13 Pro with its LeTV Y2 Pro.

As with most iPhone clones, the LeTV Y2 Pro costs CNY 599, which is approximately Rs. 7100. That's a price that Apple cannot imagine even for its cheapest iPhone SE. But here we are with this one – a phone that resembles the iPhone 13 Pro from the back. The phone has got a triple camera setup on its back, and even copies the LiDAR sensor housing as well as the LED flashlight The only thing missing is the Apple logo – you only find the LeTV logo at the bottom (obviously).

Turn it around though and the resemblance to the iPhone 13 Pro starts to diminish. The phone features a small notch at the front, and has a humongous chin with thick bezels as well. This is given considering that this is a 6.5-inch LCD display. Other known specifications of the phone include a an unnamed octa-core Unisoc chipset, up to 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, a 13MP main rear camera, a 4000mAh battery and fingerprint sensor built-in.

The LeTV Y2 Pro is limited to the Chinese market for now and we doubt it will ever make it out to other markets around the world. Blatant iPhone copies like this one could attract lawsuits for the company and no one would want the same.

In India, budget smartphones from Realme and Redmi try to have the iPhone influence with their camera hump designs, but they are subtle. The cheapest iPhone you can buy in the market right now is the iPhone SE 3rd Gen, which starts at just over Rs. 41,000 in India. For that price though, you are getting the vintage iPhone design – small 4.7-inch LCD display, fat bezels, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the Home button, and a single rear 12MP camera.
