Apple Event 2021: It's one of the most important nights of the year today. Apple hosted its annual fall event today. The event began with Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook taking the stage at the company's Steve Jobs Theatre at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. At the event, Apple launched its iPhone 12 successor, iPhone 13 series smartphones. Just like the iPhone 12 series, the newly announced iPhone 13 series includes four iPhone models -- the iPhone 13 Mini, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 13 series price

As far as the prices are concerned, the iPhone 13 series will start at $699, which is the starting price for the iPhone 13 Mini. On the other hand, the iPhone 13 starts at $799. Coming to the Pro variants, the iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 while the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1,099. The iPhone 13 series will go on pre-order on September 17 and on sale in the US starting September 24.

The iPhone 13 Mini comes with a 5.4-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with support for IP68 dust-resistant coating. It features support for HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. It is powered by Apple's A15 Bionic chipset that is coupled with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage space. It comes with a 12MP wide-angle + 12MP ultra wide-angle sensors at the back. It comes with a new Cinematic Mode for videos. For connectivity, the iPhone 13 Mini features 5G connectivity. The iPhone 13 Mini features a battery life that is 1.5 hours more than the iPhone 12 Mini. It also features support for Apple's MagSafe leather case.

The iPhone 13 comes with a 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with support for IP68 dust resistant coating. It features support for HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. It is powered by Apple's A15 Bionic chipset that will be coupled with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage space. Coming to the Pro variants, the iPhone 13 Pro features a 6.1-inch OLED 120Hz ProMotion Super Retina XDR display. It is protected by IP68 coating with ceramic coating. The iPhone 13 Pro is powered by Apple's A15 Bionic chipset that is coupled with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of storage space. On the camera front, the iPhone 13 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of telephoto sensor with 3x zoom, ultra wide angle sensor and wide angle sensors. All of these sensors feature support for Night Mode. The iPhone 13 Pro features support for 4K Dolby Vision for videos. The iPhone 13 Pro will get the advanced ProRes video feature later this year. The iPhone 13 Pro features a battery life that is 1.5 hours more than the iPhone 12 Pro.
