Asus on Wednesday officially launched its new flagship smartphone series. The lineup featuring Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro come with flip cameras just like the last year's Zenfone 6. The latest phones will first be available in Taiwan for a starting price of NT$21,999, which is ₹55,700 approximately. The two models come in black and white colour options.
First up is the Zenfone 7. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Another highlight of the phone is 200Hz touch sampling rate.
For performance, it relies upon Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone runs on 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging and Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0.
In the camera department, Asus Zenfone 7 has three sensors featuring a 64-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 113-degree field of view, and 8-megapixel telephoto lens. It supports both 8K and 4K video recording.
Next is the premium Zenfone 7 Pro. It comes with the almost same set of specifications. The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 200Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone runs on Qualcomm's upgraded Snapdragon 865+ processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
The rotating camera module has the same set of sensors - 64-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 113-degree field of view, and 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
The also phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
