Asus has long been rumoured to be working on a mini version of its Zenfone 8 flagship phone. Details of the Zenfone 8 mini have also leaked multiple times in the last couple of months. Now, a new leak has revealed the memory and battery details of the upcoming phone.

According to Dealintech (via GSMArena), Asus Zenfone 8 mini will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage for the base model. There is also an 8GB+128GB model. The company would also offer more variants with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The phone will reportedly come with a 4,000mAh battery. It will also support 30W fast charging support. The phone is rumoured to come with an OLED 5.92-inch display.

According to older rumours, Asus' upcoming Zenfone 8 mini will offer up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from the compact display, the phone is also said to come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor (Sony IMX686) and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. An older leak claimed the phone would come with Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 888 processor.

Separately, Asus has confirmed the Zenfone 8 series will debut on May 12. Leaks suggest the phone will come with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The predecessor Zenfone 7 came with a flip camera module. One of the recent teasers has confirmed the new flagship will come with up to 120Hz display.
