You will be able to buy Apple iPhones on a monthly basis with a bunch of benefits. Here’s how. (Bloomberg)

The iPhone users will soon get a monthly Apple iPhone subscription bundle with a package involving the hardware and services such as Apple One, which has been rumoured for so long. The hardware subscription has been a subject of speculation for some time, but it hasn't been implemented yet. It would let customers buy iPhones and other items from Apple for a monthly fee. Even though Apple had the chance to do so at its iPhone 14 launch event in order to "reduce launch day complexity."

This will be an entirely new way to buy an iPhone. A report by Mark Gurman's "Power On" newsletter for Bloomberg indicates that Apple may launch either later this year or next year. The report further suggests that Gurman has great expectation from another October event dedicated to the launch of the new iPad and Mac as there is a high chance that Apple may use that opportunity to present the new subscription feature.

How Apple Subscription bundle will differ from other programs

Customers already have a wide range of direct purchasing options from Apple, such as the iPhone Upgrade Program and installment programs like Apple Card. However, the subscription would be different because buyers would also be required to pay for a number of other services on top of the hardware price.

Not sure which
mobile to buy?

For instance, Apple One bundles, according to Gurman, may include hardware as part of the monthly fee, allowing buyers to immediately access essential Apple services. It's also possible that Apple will include AppleCare+ in the same comprehensive package.

However, this is not the first time that the Apple Analyst has talked about such an Apple subscription plan. The predictions of a late 2022 or early 2023 launch of the subscription by Mark Gurman are in line with the earlier claims that he made in March.

A hardware subscription is also seen to be favourable for the company because it would change the focus from one-time transactions to recurring sales.
