According to MacRumours, the always-on display feature in the iPhone 14 Pro models will remove the depth effect seen in lock screen wallpapers. Instead, the background will get toned down to save battery while the always-on display is switched on. Apple will also bring the ability to use widgets on lock screens as well as notification pop-ups when the always-on feature is turned on. MacRumours further reported that Apple is already working to prevent OLED burn-in when using the always-on display feature.
