Google Pixel 5 leaks hours before the official launch of Pixel 4a
Google Pixel 5 makes an early appearance on the web alongside Pixel 4a. Here is what to expect from Google’s next flagship phone.
Pixel 4a is not the only phone Google plans to launch soon. Hours before the official unveiling of Pixel 4a, Google's other long-awaited phone Pixel 5 has leaked online.
Tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared what appears to be an official poster of Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 5G. As seen in the poster, Pixel 5 has a smaller size compared to the affordable version. The premium phone is also said to have brushed metal on the sides. If you look closely, you will notice a slightly bigger camera panel on the back. Interestingly, the module is flatter than usual.
If reports are to be believed, Google Pixel 5 will not be a high-specced smartphone. The company is likely to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G processor which is mostly found on the mid-range phones. Google has so far used Qualcomm's top-end flagship chips on its premium handsets. For instance, it had Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 on Pixel 4.
I made a typo. I'm sorry. The brushed metal, smaller phone is Pixel 5 5G, on the left. The one on the right is Pixel 4a 5G which is bigger with a coloured power button. https://t.co/KcJfHB0Ptf

Google is also going to make some design changes with the Pixel 5. Instead of thicker bezels on top and bottom, it will have a punch-hole camera on the front. The phone is said to have a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is also rumoured to come with 3.5mm headphone jack and reverse wireless charging support.
Separately, Google is set to launch its Pixel 4a today. Aimed at the affordable premium smartphone segment, Google Pixel 4A will have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 and 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The phone is likely to be priced at $399 ( ₹29,000 approximately).
