Notably, this report follows another tweet earlier this week wherein the tipster said that a Google smartphone was slated to be launched on June 11. However, he hadn't revealed which Pixel smartphone the company would launch on the mentioned date. For those of you who aren't sure, Google typically launches its mid-budget smartphone in May at the time of its annual developers' conference Google I/O. It launches its flagship smartphone in the fall every year.
Coming back to the Pixel 5a smartphone, as per reports, the Pixel 4a successor will come with a 6.2-inch OLED FHD+ display. Google will ditch the punch-hole display to opt for a thin chin on top that will house the front camera. While there is no word on the processor specifications, word is that the Pixel 5a is likely to get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash memory.
Reports haven't talked about camera specifications either, but reports have hinted towards the phone getting a video stabilization feature that is similar to the Pixel 4a 5G. Apart from this, reports have also hinted towards the phone getting a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
