The Google Pixel 7 launched on October 6 and offers AI and machine learning based software which Google claims can enhance the user experience by quite a bit. The smartphone starts at Rs. 59999. But it is competing with the iPhone 13 which was one of the best selling devices of the last year and it still holds its value in 2022. And as an added bonus, it even costs Rs. 9 less and has been priced at Rs. 59990. If you'd rather prefer the iPhone 14, the you will have to pay extra because the smartphone starts at Rs. 79990. Pixel 7 vs iPhone 13: Where lies the value?

The iPhone 13 comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, Google Pixel 7 comes with a larger 6.3-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. However, iPhone 13 has a higher display density of 460 PPI whereas Pixel 7 has 413 PPI.

iPhone 13 comes equipped with the Apple A15 Bionic chipset which has also featured in this year's iPhone 14. On the other hand, Pixel 7 has featured its Google Tensor 2 chipset. Both devices are paired with 128GB of storage space.

Coming to cameras, the iPhone 13 features a dual rear camera setup of a 12MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. Pixel 7 gets a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. Stylistically, the Pixel camera shots produce a high contrast punchy image whereas iPhone 13 gives a brighter but real-tone image.

The iPhone 13 runs on iOS 16 (it comes with iOS 15 out of the box) and all the latest updates by Apple. The Pixel 7 comes with the latest Android 13 out of the box.
