Xiaomi is planning to launch a bunch of new smartphones this month. Here is a list of all the Xiaomi phones coming in August.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 Prime smartphone in India earlier this month. The phone that comes at a starting price of ₹9,999 was launched ahead of the Amazon Prime Day sale in India. After launching a budget smartphone in India, one might think that Xiaomi must be done launching new smartphones this month. But it isn't.
So, here are all the new smartphones Xiaomi is planning to launch this month:
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra

Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi 10 Ultra smartphone in China on August 11. The phone was initially called the Mi 10 Pro Plus but the company confirmed that it will be called Mi 10 Ultra instead. Reports hint towards the phone getting up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. It is tipped to come with 120x zoom and a 4,500mAh battery.
Notably, the phone, that will be launching on Xiaomi's 10th anniversary has also been spotted on Geekbench a day ahead of its launch. The listing as per a report by GSM Arena, the phone will sport 16GB of RAM, which is contrary to the previous reports that suggested that the phone will come with 12GB of RAM. The listing also reveals that the phone will come with a 120Hz display and 120W wired charging support.
Xiaomi Mi 10i
A report by GizChina says that Xiaomi will launch Mi Note 10 Lite as Mi 10i in India in late August or early September. While details are scarce at the moment but the phone is expected to feature specs that are similar to the Redmi Note 10 Lite, which includes 64MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP rear camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage space, 6.47-inch curved AMOLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi K30 Ultra
Xiaomi is also expected to launch the Redmi K30 Ultra on August 11. Ahead of the launch, key specs of Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone have already been leaked on the internet. Reports hint towards the phone getting a 120Hz display with an AMOLED screen. It is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor that is coupled with 8GB of RAM. It is expected to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery and come with a 64MP primary sensor and a 20MP pop-up camera for selfies.
Separately, Xiaomi co-founder Lei Jun has revealed that the phone is based on the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone but with upgraded features.
Redmi Note 8 Pro Special Edition
In addition to these smartphones, Xiaomi is set to introduce a special Twilight colour variant for the Redmi Note 8 Pro Special Edition that was launched back in January this year. Xiaomi shared a teaser image for the same via its official Twitter account. While the company hasn't confirmed the exact specs yet. But it is tipped to come with similar specs as the version that was launched earlier this year.
