HMD Global to launch Nokia phones today, all you need to know

HMD Global is expected to launch as many as six phones including Nokia X20, C20 and G10.

HMD Global has scheduled an event today where it is expected to launch new Nokia smartphones. The launch event will take place later today at 7:30 pm IST. There are reports suggesting as many as six Nokia phones launching today.

HMD Global hasn’t teased any phone yet or given any hints on what to expect. But there have been leaks and rumours on the upcoming Nokia phones. The expected lineup includes Nokia X10, X20, C20, G20 and G10. Starting with Nokia C20, this phone was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. It is expected to come with up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone will most likely run Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Nokia G20 and G10 are said to be among the first phones with the new naming scheme for Nokia phones this year. Nokia G10 is rumoured to come with MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor, 3GB of RAM, and run Android 11 out-of-the-box. It could also feature a 6.4-inch LCD display. As for the Nokia G20, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Nokia G20 and G10 are said to feature a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, 2-megapixel macro sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones are also said to feature an 8-megapixel front camera, and pack a 5,000mAh battery.

Nokia X10 and X20 are expected to be 5G smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Nokia X20 is also expected to feature a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary camera, and pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.
