Other manufacturers like HMD Global have pushed the update to a small number of devices, with more expected in the coming months. Micromax is set to join this list, with the arrival of Early Access testing for the Micromax IN Note 1. Users who want to take Micromax’s Android 11 update for a spin on their Micromax IN Note 1 devices can now sign up for the company’s Early Access Program to receive a testing version via an over the air update, which the company will reportedly seed to users, the company said in an update posted on their forum on Wednesday. If you want to sign up for the update, you must first go to your phone’s dialer app and enter *#06# (star-pound-zero-six-pound) which will reveal both IMEI numbers (as the Micromax IN Note 1 is a dual SIM device). If you cannot use this method for some reason, you can try going to Settings > About Phone > IMEI 1 (and the same steps for IMEI 2), then go to Settings >About Phone > Software version. The company will then push the update to eligible users based on the IMEI number and software version installed.
