Huawei Mate 40 Pro with specs and release date, shows up on Amazon hours before official launch
The Amazon website listing added that Huawei Mate 40 Pro will feature a 6.76-inch OLED display and a 50-megapixel Ultra Vision primary rear camera.
Huawei is yet to launch its flagship smartphone, Mate 40 and has already sent the invites for virtual launch event as well. However, the handset's ‘Pro' variant seems to have made an appearance on Amazon along with price and release date a few hours before the official launch. The handset got listed on Amazon Germany website. And besides this, the listing also revealed some specifications. The launch is expected to take place in China at 8pm CST Asia (5:30PM IST) today.
The listing, which has been taken down since but was shared by Roland Quandt on Twitter, shows the price of Huawei Mate 40 Pro around EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,04,800) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant. The handset may go on sale starting November 9.

As for the specifications, the Amazon Germany website listing added that Huawei Mate 40 Pro will feature a 6.76-inch OLED display and a 50-megapixel Ultra Vision primary rear camera. If true, this will make it the first smartphone with a 50-megapixel camera. Until now we have seen handset cameras with 48-megapixe, 64-megapixel or more. At the back, there may also be an ultra-wide-angle lens and for selfies, you may have a 13-megapixel camera sensor.
It has been reported that Huawei Mate 40 Pro will run on Android 10-based EMUI 11 but without any Google services like Gmail, PlayStore and more. Adding to the speculations are a 4,400mAh battery with 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging support and 50W fast wireless charging support.
The listing has an image of Huawei Mate 30 Pro but that just seems like a placeholder.
