Huawei has quietly launched a new handset. Called Huawei Y9a, the phone is priced at $239 which is ₹17,600 approximately. Huawei Y9a is currently available in limited markets. There is no word on when the phone will be available in India.
Huawei Y9a comes with unique back panel with a blend two colours. There is a circular camera module as well with a halo-like ring around it. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other key features include USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Space Silver, and Sakura colour options.

Huawei Y9a measures 76.5 x 163.5 x 8.97mm and weighs around 197 grams. The phone comes with a 6.63-inch display with full HD+ resolution.
Huawei Y9a runs on a MediaTek Helio G80 processor coupled with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It comes in two RAM combinations - 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The 8GB RAM variant will be available in select markets such as the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific area and some countries in Middle Asia.
The handset also supports expandable storage up to 256GB. The phone is powered by a 4,300mAh battery coupled with 40W Huawei SuperCharge support.
In the camera department, Huawei Y9a has four sensors at the back - 64 MP (f/1.8 aperture) + 8 MP (120-degree Ultra-Wide Angle Lens, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (Depth Lens, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (Macro Lens, f/2.4 aperture). On the front, it comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
