Infinix Hot 10 Play to launch India soon: Here’s what we know about it so far

Infinix is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under its Hot-series in India. The company on Thursday announced that it would launch Hot 10 Play in the country on April 19. It further revealed that the phone would be available in the following colour options - Morandi Green, 7-degree Purple, Aegean Blue and Obsidian Black.
Infinix did not disclose the price but said it would be available under ₹10,000. “The smartphone has been designed especially for entertainment enthusiasts to witness an unforgettable experience with all unique features that suits the consumer needs,” the company said in a note.

It is worth noting that Infinix has already launched the Hot 10 Play in other markets. The smartphone is available in the Philippines for a starting price of ₹6,500 approximately (after currency conversion).
The smartphone houses a 6.82-inch HD+ IPS display. It also comes with a dewdrop-like notch on the front to house the selfie camera. The phone runs on MediaTek's entry-level G25 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.
It also supports expandable storage through a microSD card. On the software front, it has Android 10 (Go Edition) out-of-the-box. A large 6,000mAh battery powers the phone.

In the photography department, the phone has a dual-camera setup on the back. It consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor. The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Infinix Hot 10 Play also has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
There is no word on whether the India model will have the same set of specifications. We are likely to hear about the Hot 10 Play soon. Until then, stay tuned.
