Infinix just launched a smartphone in India that boasts of a 180W charging solution! Yes, a 180W charging solution for a smartphone. It is called the Infinix Zero Ultra and it costs Rs. 29999 for the sole 8GB/256GB variant. The phone will go on sale from December 25 via Flipkart and puts Infinix in the premium midrange segment where brands like Samsung, Nothing, Oppo and Vivo play at their best.

The Infinix Zero Ultra comes in Coslight Silver and Genesis Noir colours, and is right now the most premium smartphone from the brand in the country. Here is a quick look at the specifications and features of the Infinix Zero Ultra you need to know.

Infinix Zero Ultra features at a glance

The star feature on the Infinix Zero Ultra is the 180W charging solution. Infinix says that this fast charging system can fill up the phone's 4500mAh battery from 0-100 percent in just 12 minutes. This makes it the fastest charging smartphone in India right now, beating the 150W charging-based Realme GT Neo 3 that launched earlier in 2022.

The phone also flaunts a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and curved edges. Infinix says that the display can deliver brightness levels of up to 1000 nits. Underneath the display sits the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset that is paired with 8GB RAM. The Dimensity 920 chipset was used by a few midrange Android smartphones last year and still makes for a decent midrange chip to rely on. You are getting XOS 12 based on Android 12, and Infinix is yet to comment on the Android 13 update.

Another star feature on the Zero Ultra is its triple camera setup. The phone features a 200MP main camera sensor with OIS for stability, a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP third camera. A 32MP camera is there for selfies and video calls.

As part of the miscellaneous features, you get up to 2TB of expandable storage via microSD card. There's support for 5G connectivity, and there's an in-display fingerprint scanner present as well.
