A few days back, Counterpoint Research's latest report revealed that Apple iPhone 13 emerged as the best-selling smartphone in the world for April. In fact, the top-10 list was packed by Apple's models including the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, and iPhone SE 3 in addition to the iPhone 13. Now, sales data from China's just-concluded 6.18 sales, shows that Apple iPhone 13 has beaten its local rivals.

China's 6.18 shopping festival is similar to the Black Friday Sales of the US, Cyber Monday or Amazon's Prime Day festival. It offers a good opportunity for customers to grab the best deals during the sale season. This 6.18 shopping festival is a specific 18-day period for sales in June in China. It is during this sale period that iPhone 13 managed to beat everyone in sales.

A report by NoteBookCheck posted sales graphic data being shared across Chinese social media, in this case by @DTChat, which showed the best-selling smartphones during the shopping festival. The iPhone 13 showed its popularity again with sales of 2.82 million units.

Besides the iPhone 13, it is Xiaomi which took most of the spots in the list of the most-selling smartphones. The Redmi K50 comes in a distant second on the list, with sales of 341,000 units. Xiaomi takes up the next nine spots to round up the top ten. The Xiaomi 12X came in the third spot with 234,000 units sold, while the Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi 10A found the fourth and fifth places respectively in the list. However, the cumulative sales of total Xiaomi units stood at 1.92 million units, far from the sales of the iPhone 13's 2.82 million units. The 11th spot was taken by iQOO 9.
