Apple launched its latest flagship, the iPhone 14 series just last week at its'Far out' event in California. The Cupertino-based tech giant announced four new iPhone models – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Although iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are upgrades on their counterparts from last year, Apple has killed off the iPhone Mini and replaced it with a new iPhone 14 Plus, offering the same features as the standard iPhone 14, but in a bigger 6.7-inch form factor.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus offer slight upgrade over the iPhone 13 in terms of power, battery and performance.

It is the iPhone 14 Pro models which have stolen all the headlines because of their new design, with Apple deciding to get rid of the traditional notch for a new pill-shaped “Dynamic Island” notch. The iPhone 14 series is available globally with exactly the same spec-sheet, except the US where Apple has removed the physical SIM slot. The iPhone 14 in the US will only support e-SIM. Despite being identical all around the world, these iPhones do not cost the same everywhere because of various factors such as import duties, taxes and more. If direct conversion is followed, then the iPhone 14 series is the cheapest in the US followed by Japan, Canada and China. Whereas, it is the most expensive in India due to a hefty 18 percent GST on top of custom duties.
