Apple is ready to launch the most-awaited iPhone 14 series on September 7. During the Apple Event named ‘Far Out', Apple is expected to introduce four new models - the standard iPhone 14, the new iPhone 14 Max, the high-end iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The rumour mill around the iPhone 14 has always been active for the last couple of months. From the display, design, and new chipset to cameras; there is already a bunch of information that has shown us a glimpse of the new iPhone 14. Now, the wave of leaks and rumours is to intensify as the launch date is nearing.

In the latest development, an image surfaced on the internet showing the expected iPhone 14 Pro colours. The GizChina report says that the iPhone 14 Pro dummy models appeared on Weibo first. There are three traditional colours that we have seen in the past - Graphite, Gold, and Silver. While the leaked image claims that the new iPhone 14 Pro will be exclusively available in Dark Purple and Blue colours too. On these dark models, the antenna bands of the iPhone 14 Pro can be easily noticed in White colour.

The latest leak echoed the previous rumours and leaks about a Purple colour for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max that have been around for a while. If Apple iPhone 14 Pro comes in the new Purple colour, then this won't be the first time when Apple will be experimenting with the new shades. Earlier, a pale purple-coloured iPhone 11 made it to the final, and later a deeper-purple version of the iPhone 12 was released.

iPhone 14 Pro purple variant to bring a colour-changing rear?

The report also quoted some rumours that this dark Purple colour shifts tone based on lighting conditions. However, it won't be like Vivo or Oppo's colour-changing tech. According to MacRumors, Apple may adopt the technique used on the iPhone 13 Pro's Sierra Blue colour variant. Apple especially used “multiple layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramics applied across the surface for a stunning and durable finish” for the iPhone 13 Pro's Sierra Blue, the report mentioned. Apple may bring the same tech to the iPhone 14 Pro.

However, there are several iPhone 14 dummies that are circulating all over the internet, hence, you should take information with a pinch of salt.
