iPhone SE 3 vs iPhone SE 2: Battery life? Problem-child no more?
The iPhone SE 3 is finally here! But does the iPhone SE 3 battery life manage to beat the lousy iPhone SE 2020 battery?
Apple finally launched the iPhone SE 3 or as Apple likes to call it - the ‘new iPhone SE' during the Spring Event on March 8. But what new does it offer? This is what everyone is wants to know. From the previous generation 2 of iPhone SE, launched back in 2020 to this new iPhone SE 2022, what has changed? Right on top, is the most important thing- battery life. Notably, the iPhone SE 2 battery life sucks. So, when it comes to the iPhone SE 3 vs iPhone SE 2 battery life comparison, the answer is something that most fans would be eagerly waiting for.
So, does the new iPhone SE 3 offer anything new on the table? Well, Apple says so. “Built for efficiency, A15 Bionic works in conjunction with the latest-generation battery chemistry and tight integration with iOS 15 to enable better battery life on iPhone SE,” Apple statement reads about the iPhone SE 3. The iPhone makers promise to offer a better battery life from its previous iteration and older 4.7-inch iPhone model even with its compact form factor and new technologies like 5G.
But what defines this ‘better' iPhone SE 3 battery size? The new iPhone SE does offer a larger battery. The iPhone SE 3 promises to offer 15 hours of video playback against its iPhone SE 2nd Generation, and even the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. The audio playback that the new iPhone offers is up to 50 hours which is 10 hours more than the iPhone SE 2.
For charging, the new iPhone SE is compatible with Qi-certified chargers for wireless charging, and also supports fast charging. Apple promises to make the power-up of the iPhone SE 3 from 0 to 50 percent with 20W or higher wired charge in just 30 minutes. Well, the reality will hit with its real usage, but on paper iPhone SE 3 definitely seems to offer better battery life in comparison to iPhone SE 2020.
Another highlight of 'the cheapest iPhone' that should be pointed out is its latest A15 Bionic Chipset, the one which is used in the iPhone 13 series - from its vanilla model to iPhone 13 Pro Max. The second-generation iPhone SE 2 is powered by the A13 Bionic Chipset.
Better camera? Certainly, Yes. Apple claims to feature an all-new camera system powered by A15 Bionic in iPhone Se 3 with a 12MP ƒ/1.8 aperture Wide camera offering computational photography benefits, including Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Portrait mode.
