Tecno Phantom X2
1/7 The week of December 2022 has been great for smartphone lovers as it has been marked by a number of stellar releases. It all started with the launch of Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro which came to Dubai this week. The former is confirmed to roll out in India later this month. The Tecno Phantom X2 features a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, and a 64MP+13MP+2MP camera setup and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G. After China, Malaysia, and Indonesia, iQOO is all set to launch its flagship iQOO 11 lineup in India on January 10, 2023. It is said to be India's first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is the latest and the most powerful chipset Android phones can use at the moment. Just like its global variants, iQOO is expected to bring two models including the base iQOO 11 and its upper model the iQOO 11 Pro. Through a community post, the company has announced the launch date. It is likely to be going on sale from January 13. The Legend Edition, which has a BMW Motorsport-themed design, will likely be rolled out too.

iQOO 11 series: What you can expect

As iQOO has already launched the devices in several countries, it is likely to feature a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ with the latest E6 AMOLED display, which promises up to 1800 nits of peak brightness and a max refresh rate of 144Hz. As mentioned before, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. For photography, it may have a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP Samsung GN5 main camera, a 13MP "portrait" camera with 3x zoom, and an 8MP fixed-focus ultrawide camera. Everything will be backed by a 5000mAh battery that is charged via a 120W wired fast charging solution.

On the other hand, the iQOO 11 Pro features a 6.7-inch Curved edge Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The major upgrade here that you can expect is in the camera department. According to China's model of the iQOO 11 Pro, it is expected to have a 50MP Sony IMX866 1/1.49-inch sensor along with a 50MP 150-degree ultrawide, and a 13MP 3x portrait camera. However, it may have a smaller 4700 battery with a much faster 200W wired charging solution.

iQOO 11 expected price in India

As per the GizmoChina report, iQOO 11 is expected to be priced between Rs. 55000 and 60000 in India and will be available in two variants - 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage. In terms of colours, it is expected to be available in Legend (white) and Alpha (black).
