iQoo will be launching its next-generation flagship smartphone in China on August 17. Now, new reports hint that the phone could arrive in India soon.
iQoo has shared a bunch of teasers from its official Twitter handle, which indicates that the company is planning to launch a new smartphone in India soon. “A new race is on the horizon, get ready to witness performance like never before! Stay tuned to know more. #DrivePerformance coming soon,” the company wrote in one tweet.
“We're joining forces and approaching break-neck speeds. Its unlike anything you've ever seen before. Stay tuned to know more. #DrivePerformance coming soon,” it wrote in another tweet.
This indicates that iQoo upcoming smartphone will offer a power-packed performance. This is in line with older reports which says that the iQoo 5 will come with a 120W fast charger that can charge a 4,000mAh battery completely in just 15 mins.

Notably, the company in its teaser images don't explicitly state that the company will be launching the iQoo 5 in India. However, it's not entirely wrong to speculate that Vivo's sub-brand would launch the iQoo 5 in India shortly after it is launched in China.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the upcoming iQoo 5 is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor that is coupled with 8GB of RAM. It is expected to get a 120Hz AMOLED display with always-on display functionality. It is also expected to get a punch-hole design along with curved edges.
