iQOO had confirmed its 120W fast charger last week which promises to juice-up a 4,000mAh battery in just 15 mins. Following that, iQOO has released a new teaser on Weibo that states the iQOO 5 is coming on August 17 and will be launched with the 120W fast charge support.

The poster shared by the company on Weibo teases both the 120W and 15-minute promise indicating that the new smartphone will come with this new charging tech.

This smartphone is also supposed to be the first in the industry to come with the Rheinland's safe-charging certification.

The iQOO 5 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 865, UFS 3.1 storage speeds, AMOLED screen with always-on display and a 120Hz refresh rate and also LPDDR5 RAM.

The screen is expected to sport a punch-hole design along with curved edges. There are no details about the cameras yet.

Besides this, it may come with a 55W fast charger and 8GB of RAM and Android 10.
