iQOO 9T to NOT let go of BMW M colours, will also get Vivo V1+ chip for cameras
iQOO 9T design has been revealed ahead of its expected launch in India, it will feature the Vivo V1+ imaging chip.
iQOO loves painting its phones in BMW M colours and for its upcoming iQOO 9T, it is also doing the same once more. The iQOO 9T will be another addition to the iQOO 9 series of flagships for India and iQOO will flaunt its partnership with BMW M once more for its next flagship. Ahead of the India launch, iQOO has revealed how the phone will look. Other than wearing the BMW M colours, the phone also gets a vastly different design compared to the rest of the iQOO 9 series devices.
iQOO took to Amazon to reveal the design of iQOO 9T, which at first glance looks a lot like the iQOO 9 Legend variant. The design is fresh though especially with its painted blacked out top half, and the tastefully done racing stripes. There will be a triple rear camera setup and iQOO seems to be focusing on these once again.
iQOO 9T design revealed
Sadly, iQOO doesn't show the front of the device in the renders. However, leaks suggest that iQOO 9T will have a flat display instead of the curved edges from the iQOO 9 Pro. The iQOO 9T also comes with a Vivo V1+ imaging chip, which should be similar to Oppo's MariSilicon chip and help with image as well as video processing in low light situations. The phone also seems to have a 20X zoom camera, although this could be all digital zoom instead of an optical one.
Leaks suggest that the iQOO 9T will feature the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which will be more capable than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on the iQOO 9 Pro. The phone will also feature a 120Hz Samsung E5 AMOLED display and will also get 120W fast wired charging. Rest of the specs are unknown at the moment.
What remains to be seen is whether the iQOO 9T retains the gimbal stabilisation from the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. iQOO phones are all about the cameras and performance, and we don't expect this one to be any different. Additionally, this could be first phone in India to launch with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.
