iQoo Z1 key specifications leak ahead of launch

iQoo’s upcoming Z1 is said to come with MediaTek’s 5G-enabled Dimensity 1000+ processor. Here’s what you need to know.

iQoo is set to launch a new smartphone in China tomorrow. Dubbed as iQoo Z1,  key details including top specifications have already leaked online. Ahead of the official release, iQoo Z1 has made an early appearance on Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing gives away some important information about the phone.

According to the listing, iQoo Z1 is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 1000+ processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 10 out of the box. The phone scored 3,070 points on multi-core test and 781 points on single-core test.

Earlier reports claim iQoo Z1 will come with a 144Hz screen. It will also support 5G. iQoo Z1 will also be the company's new lineup of Z-series phones. It's also said to come with 44W fast charging support.

iQoo entered the Indian market earlier this year. The company debuted with iQoo 3 5G with Snapdragon 865, quad cameras, and 4,400mAh battery. 

iQoo recently launched iQoo Neo 3 5G in China. The smartphone features a 6.57-inch full HD+ display. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It's powered by a 4,500mAh battery.

In the camera department, iQoo Neo 3 5G features a 48-megapixel primary sensor and 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The phone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
