iQoo Z3 5G launched in India with Snapdragon 768G, allows users to ‘extend RAM’ to 11 GB

iQoo on Tuesday launched a new smartphone, the iQoo Z3 5G, a new smartphone with 5G connectivity, with midrange specifications including an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor, 8GB of RAM and a triple camera setup with a 64 MP camera.
On the front of the iQoo Z3 5G is an IPS LCD display at 1080X2048 FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, the screen has a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz. The 6.58-inch screen's display supports DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and it is also HDR10 certified. The device has a triple camera setup including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera.

The iQoo Z3 5G sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G, a processor released as a follow up to the popular Snapdragon 765 and 765G. The processor is paired with the Adreno 620 GPU and comes with 256GB of UFS storage and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM on the highest variant. Notably, the Snapdragon 768G also supports the Snapdragon Elite gaming features found on high-end devices.

On the side of the iQoo Z3 5G are the volume rockers and the fingerprint sensor, which is housed on the power button. The device also supports the ability to “extend” the device's RAM by using some of the internal memory as additional RAM, which is similar to the swap file on Linux computers and the paging file on Windows PCs.
iQoo's new iQoo Z3 5G smartphone is powered by a 4,400mAh battery which can charge to 50 percent within 19 minutes, according to the company. The device's fast charging technology is powered by the company's 55W FlashCharge technology. On the connectivity front iQoo has also equipped the iQoo Z3 5G with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a Type-C port.

The iQoo Z3 5G will be sold in two colours – Ace Black and Cyber Blue. It will be sold in three RAM and storage variants, priced at ₹19,990 for the 6GB+128GB model, ₹20,990 for the 8GB+128 GB model, and ₹22,990 for the 8GB+256GB model. The iQoo Z3 5G will be sold on both Amazon.in as well as iQoo.com, the company's website.
