Lenovo launches Legion Phone Duel 2 gaming phone with 18GB RAM, dual cooling fans and more

After days of teasing its gaming smartphone, Lenovo today launched the Legion Phone Duel 2. The handset, which is also said to be the rival of Asus ROG Phone 5, will be going on sale in China this month and in Europe in May. While the 12GB+256GB model cost EUR 799, the 16GB+512GB variant costs EUR 999. There is also a model with 18GB RAM.

It has a 5,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The handset comes with two USB-C ports (one at the bottom and one on the side) and both can charge simultaneously, reaching 90W speed. If you charge using just one port, it will be limited to 45W.

What's more is that you get dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos and in-screen fingerprint scanner. Since this device is made with gamers in mind, you get a side-popping front-facing camera. It is meant to let you live stream while you are gaming and thus, is placed in a landscape orientation. Also, the power button is right on top of the pop-up camera.
As for the screen, you get a 6.92-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports HDR10+ content. For gamers, the handset also has eight virtual keys or touch sensitive buttons.
