LG has just launched its Q92 smartphone, which is also a 5G supporting device, in home ground South Korea. It is available in three colours - White, Blue and Red at 499,000 won ($419 or roughly 31,390. Although there's no confirmation if this will come to India or not. The sale in South Korea will begin from August 26.

The LG Q92 brings a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080 pixels) resolution PunchHole Display with 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor along with Adreno 620 GPU. This comes in addition to 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The Dual SIM smartphone runs Android 10 and has four rear cameras comprising of a 48-megapixel sensor + 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor + 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There's a 32-megapixel front facing camera as well.

The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery, which supports fast charging too. On the connectivity front you get 5G support in addition to Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port.

While LG launched new smartphone in South Korea, in India, it introduced online store so the products can be delivered directly to the customer. The company has launched its direct-to-consumer (D2C) channel at a time when online sales are on the rise after the coronavirus outbreak, prompting consumers to go on popular e-commerce platforms to buy appliances besides other products. LG India D2C channel would initially cater to only select cities with a limited number of products, however, it has plans to expand across the country in phases by adding more places in its delivery network.
