LG's dual-screen T-shape unique phone's release postposed by 10 more days: Here's what we know about it

Looks like LG fans might have to wait a bit more to get their hands on the LG Wing, company's upcoming dual-screen T-shaped smartphone. The firm has already announced the launch date of September 14 in an official video. But it looks like the device will take some 10 extra days to hit the shelves. According to a report coming from Korea, the company may have delayed the release date of the upcoming smartphone. It was decided to arrive on September 25 but now it is said to come around October 5.
Also, it is a long shot to guess if the smartphone is coming to other regions as well including India.
But thanks to leaks and rumors, we have some idea of what is coming to the market. According to tipster Evan Blass, the render (paywalled) reveals the phone has three large camera sensors housed in a rectangular module on the back. The module also houses an LED flash and the primary screen is seen without any front-facing camera.

You can expect it to feature Qualcomm's 5G chip logo and come in two colour options – Sky Blue and Black.
In case you did not know, LG Wing is going to be the company's first smartphone under a new Explorer Project which aims to “focus solely on new usability that is discovered with innovative designs.” LG has also teamed up with Qualcomm, Rave, Ficto, Tubi and NAVER for the devices set to roll out under this project.
As far as specifications go, LG Wing is rumoured to come with a 6.8-inch main display. The swivelling phone could be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 700-series chipset with support for 5G. LG Wing will have as many as three rear cameras including a 64-megapixel primary sensor.

The phone is likely to come with a steep price tag as well. XDA Developers had reported the phone is going to be priced at $1,000 (Rs 73,000 approximately). A recent report, however, claims the phone could be priced as high as $1,600 (Rs 1,17,000 approximately).
