LG Wing gets a big price cut, to be available for ₹29,999
LG Wing will soon be available on Flipkart for ₹29,999, down from the original launch price of ₹69,990.
LG Wing has received a massive price cut in India. The smartphone will be available soon on Flipkart for ₹29,999. The phone had launched in India last year for ₹69,990. Interested customers can register for ‘notify me' on the e-commerce platform. There is no word on the availability date.
The price cut comes after LG announced shutting down its smartphone business. The company, however, promised to roll out software updates to select handsets. LG Wing is among the handsets that are likely to receive the three major updates.
LG Wing is one of the first phones under LG's ambitious Explorer Project, which aimed to experiment with smartphone designs. The highlight of the LG Wing is the swivel screen. The phone features a 6.8-inch POLED display with full HD+ resolution and a smaller 3.9-inch G-OLED display with an aspect ratio of 1:15:1. The larger display swivels in landscape orientation.

For performance, LG Wing runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10. The handset also comes with a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0+ support.
In the photography department, LG Wing has a 32-megapixel pop-up camera for selfies. On the back, the phone has a triple-camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The setup also supports a gimble motion camera. The mode allows you to use the smaller screen as a handle and the main display as the viewfinder.
At ₹29,999, LG Wing will compete with phones such as Samsung Galaxy A52, Realme X7 Pro 5G, Vivo V20 Pro, and others.
