Know these top 3 features first. (Apple ) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By DIVYA Since the launch of the iPhone 13 last September 2021, we all have been excitedly waiting for the affordable iPhone special edition series to be launched. The flagship iPhone 13 series came with Apple’s latest chipset and better performance than its previous iteration even as prices remained constant. Nevertheless, iPhone 13 series is pricey and that opens the need for an affordable iPhone that is priced at a level that is even below that of Phone 13 mini. Well, Apple kept its promise and brought the next special edition iPhone - the iPhone SE 3. While upgrading the popular iPhone SE portfolio, Apple has launched the iPhone SE 2022 at a starting price of Rs. 43,999. If you are planning to buy it now, then here are the ‘necessary’ points that you need to know right now. Importantly, we have highlighted that one big feature that iPhone SE 3 has completely skipped. So, should you wait for the iPhone 14 launch? Notably, the pre-order scheme for the affordable iPhone SE 3 5G is live now. ### Apple iPhone SE 3 5G: Chipset The presence of the latest A15 Bionic chipset on iPhone SE 3 5G has been making headlines for months. The leaks and rumours around this aspect has come true. Apple Peek Performance event unveiled the new iPhone SE 3 and the biggest highlight was the upgrade to A15 Bionic chipset. Notably, the same chip is inside much more expensive iPhone 13 series too. Yes, that means, iPhone SE 3 brings the same power source as iPhone 13. What difference does it make? A lot actually! From better camera output, enhanced battery management to better performance, the latest A15 Bionic chipset is the best thing to have been brought to the iPhone SE 3 5G. And till now, if you wanted to opt for a 5G iPhone, then the most affordable option was just the iPhone 12 mini which was launched at the price of Rs. 59,900. And now iPhone SE 3 will be the most affordable iPhone for you that provides a far smoother and stutter-free experience. ### iPhon SE 3: Battery Thanks to the A15 Bionic Chipset on the iPhone SE 3 5G, 15 hours of video playback has been made possible as against the much lower iPhone SE 2. In fact, it is better than even the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. Well, the audio playback that the new iPhone offers is up to 50 hours which is 10 hours more than the iPhone SE 2. So, the iPhone SE 3 definitely seems to offer better battery life in comparison to iPhone SE 2020. ### iPhone SE 3 5G: What it missed... There are a lot of upgrades we have seen in the iPhone SE 3, but unfortunately, from a larger perspective, it hasn't changed much. With the same 4.7-inch display as the previous avatar of iPhone SE, it comes with thick bezels. SO, a large portion of the screen is unusable. If that is not bad enough, in times of corona pandemic, there is no Face ID feature. So, before you plan to buy a new iPhone, check out all the features, improvements, and price and decide - is it worth your hard-earned money? Or should you wait for the Apple iPhone 14, which is being touted as a game-changer iPhone? It will be launching sometime during autumn, 2022. However, do remember that the iPhone 14 mini edition may not be launching. Apple is likely to kill off 'mini' variants of iPhone after iPhone 13 mini.
