Massive iPhone 12 leak reveals every detail that we didn’t know yet including launch dates
A new leaker shared a series of tweets with information about pretty much everything that’s going to be announced at the Apple event that’s allegedly scheduled for the second week of October.
We know that the four iPhone 12 models that Apple had planned for this year have been delayed and will not hit stores in September as planned. Apple also confirmed this and added that the new iPhone 12 will be delayed by several weeks and tipster Jon Prosser tweeted that Apple's cheapest iPhone models may be launched by the third week of October, a week after the mid-October launch event.
New, adjusted Apple dates!

Now, a different source has tweeted a whole series if new details about the upcoming iPhone 12 launch.
This person, who goes by the handle @LeaksApplePro, claims that Apple has started recording the iPhone event indicating that the keynote is going to be streamed online like the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2020 was, without an audience. The leaker also had some new details to share about the upcoming iPhone 12 handsets and some of his information match older leaks.
On Twitter, @LeaksApplePro mentioned on Sunday that the iPhone 12 launch event was going to be recorded at Apple Park on Monday and that he would be inside when that happens. He then followed this tweet up with a bunch of details about what he saw “supposedly” saw and heard.
According to @LeaksApplePro, a “fitter” Phil Schiller will be taking part in the keynote where Apple is going to unveil more than one ARM-powered Mac, new iPads, the new iPhone 12 models, the Apple Watch Series 6 and the famous “one more thing”.
Phil Schiller WILL take part in the keynote. (He is fitter).

“We do have, one more thing. Do you remember when we first presented our wireless charger...”
— Leaks (@LeaksApplePro) August 17, 2020
That “one more thing”, according to @LeaksApplePro, is the Apple AirPower. Apple AirPower is the universal charger the company introduced a few years ago and subsequently abandoned. Other leaks have suggested that Apple did not kill off the project and it is actually a part of a bigger picture - port-less iPhones.
Going by these leaks, the new models of the iPhone 12 will not have a smaller notch as previously reported and bezel sizes won't change either. However, the handsets will have a different design.
When I say “curved edges”.
— Leaks (@LeaksApplePro) August 18, 2020
Means it's not exactly like the iPhone 4/5 or like the 11/11 pro.
It's a mix of them.
This isn't a leak, it's what I think based on those Mous cases.
The new smartphones, according to @LeaksApplePro, will have curved edges which are a mix between the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 11 and there is going to be a new colour this time - a blue. The camera design on the new iPhone 12 series will follow a new schematic.

The new smartphones will not come with 120Hz or 90Hz screens and they won't have access to wireless charging either, according to these tweets. They are supposed to come with the new A14 chip, more RAM and better cameras. This matches older rumours and is expected, obviously. If Apple wants faster RAM, it might mean an upgrade to 6GB.

The leaked information adds that there is going to be a “bit more battery” this time, but that's all the information shared.
@LeaksApplePro also added that Apple has “supposedly” found out that someone has been leaking details from the keynote recording and of course, there is no telling if any of this is true. Apple could also re-record the keynote, however, the device details are possibly not going to change.
So I will keep providing you guys with everything I know.

But literally Timothy just said everybody out bc I was unveiling everything.
The leaker claimed he was accurate and revealed the release of the iOS 14 beta 5 to prove he has access to insider information.
Yeah so after reading some comments I decided to check everything with a very very very nice source in terms of Apple dates.
— Leaks (@LeaksApplePro) August 18, 2020
Let me correct me info.
Event: 13th/14th October.
Announcement: 1st October.
Sorry. Was misinformed.
@LeaksApplePro added in a separate tweet that the keynote is going to take place on October 13 or 14 and the announcement was going to be made for this on October 1. He also added that the final version of iOS 14 might be released on October 24.
iOS 14 might get released in October 24th
— Leaks (@LeaksApplePro) August 19, 2020
He also threw in some details about the AirPods Studio headphones, adding that he has the commercial video, which he could not share because he fears getting caught.
And imagine sharing it an receive jail penalty bc of articles 290, 291 and 292 which talk about revelation of secrets.
— Leaks (@LeaksApplePro) August 19, 2020
Definitely not sharing it right now.
Gonna contact a lawyer in the evening to see how can we do this.
Stay tuned.
This just shows how to get information about IP address, why would the audio file have one in it in the first place?
— FreeAppSW (@FreeAppSW) August 19, 2020
He also added some details about the Apple Card and the new markets it is going to be launched in.
