Following reports of making a comeback earlier this month, Indian mobile phone company Micromax has announced that it's going to be ‘back soon' by sharing a video on Twitter.

Previous reports indicated that the company is planning to launch at least 20 new handsets by the end of the next fiscal year and that they have also set aside 500 crore for R&D and manufacturing for the same period. These 20 smartphones included one that's going to arrive by the end September.

The video shared by Micromax has a series of shots of all the phones they have launched since 2008 and leading up to the fact that the company is now going to ‘reinvent' themselves for India after inventing for India for all these years.

Micromax also pointed out that they have been making in India even before the ‘Make in India' movement came about.

Co-founder Rahul Sharma had mentioned that the company is looking to regain its spot in the smartphone market and promised that their new phones are going to ‘disrupt the market'.

At that point in time Sharma had said that the company was not looking to make a comeback in the wake of the Indo-China tensions and that they had been planning a comeback for ‘much longer' and that you cannot plan smartphones overnight.
