IQoo, the Vivo sub-brand that last year entered India as an independent entity, has announced it will soon launch the iQoo 7 smartphone series in India via Amazon. This news comes soon after the company confirmed the India launch of the device this month itself. It is worth adding that last year, iQoo 3 launched in India with a Flipkart partnership. The company has also teased the price of the product as less than 40,000, which if true, will also make it the most affordable device in the country with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. In addition, the firm has said that the units are being made in the Noida facility.

IQoo 7 was launched in its home country back in January at a starting price of CNY3,798 (roughly 42,000). It comes in two variants based on 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. You get a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 1000Hz. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the screen. Besides a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the smartphone also has a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery, which also supports 120W fast charging.

“Our endeavour at iQOO is to offer products with superior performance and unmatched experience. Our partnership with Amazon is a step further in that direction. iQOO phones are built for those consumers who are naturally skeptical of the status quo and are constantly seeking to improve themselves- Quest on and on!,” said Gagan Arora, Director-Marketing – iQOO on Amazon partnership.
