Moto E7 Plus key specs leaked, likely to launch soon

Motorola's next-generation Moto E7 Plus smartphone has been in the news for quite some time now. This week we got to know about the key specifications of the company's upcoming E-series smartphone.

According to tipster Evan Blass, the upcoming Moto E7 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 system-on-chip that was announced alongside the Snapdragon 662 and the Snapdragon 720G processors back in January this year. This processor will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. The phone will be backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery and it will have a 48-megapixel dual camera setup at the back with night vision functionality. It remains uncertain if the phone will get support for fast charging technology.

Meanwhile, previous reports hint towards the phone getting a waterdrop notch and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the phone is expected to get a USB Type-C port run on Android.

It is worth noting that the Moto E7 Plus is not the only E-series smartphone in works at Motorola. The company is also working on a vanilla Moto E7 smartphone, which is expected to get a 6.2-inch waterdrop notch HD+ display along with Snapdragon 632 that is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. The phone is expected to get 13MP + 2MP camera setup at the back and a 5MP camera at the front. It is likely to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charge support.

Motorola is hosting a special event on September 9 wherein it is expected to launch the next generation of Moto Razr smartphone. It is possible that the company unveils its Moto E7 and Moto E7 Plus smartphones at the event. Motorola hasn't confirmed anything yet. But we'll keep an eye out for details.
