The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is going on sale today! Motorola's comeback to the high-end smartphone space focuses highly on a great user experience and top-level specifications, as we found out in our review. Hence, if you have a budget of Rs. 50,000 and are interested in buying the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, you should know that its first sale happens today. The Edge 30 Pro will be available on Flipkart at 12 pm, and Motorola is hosting some great launch offers that can bring the price down substantially.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is available in only a single storage variant, having 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, costing Rs. 49,999. You can get it in two colour variants – Cosmos Blue and Stardust White. Consumers can get an instant discount of Rs. 5,000 for customers using the SBI credit cards. Flipkart is also offering a five percent cashback on purchase using Flipkart Axis Bank Credit card. Note that the Edge 30 Pro will also be available at other retail stores across India.

Solid performance

The Edge 30 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and that means you are getting the top-of-the-line performance with this phone. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the fastest chip around and powers the ultra-expensive Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Pixel-like user experience

Motorola offers the best Android 12 experience on any Android phone on sale at the moment. The MyUX 3 interface looks uncluttered and looks great, especially with Android 12's theming engine and cute widgets. There is no bloatware and adware present, which means the Edge 30 Pro beats the likes of Samsung's One UI and Xiaomi's MIUI in terms of a premium Android experience. Two OS updates are promised.

A nice display

The Edge 30 Pro feature a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display looks great, whether you are browsing Instagram or watching YouTube videos. You also get support for HDR10+ content and the high refresh rate keeps everything smooth.

The 4800mAh battery is tuned well enough to last an entire day with rigorous usage, with 144Hz turned on. You also get Motorola's fast 68W charging solution that fill up the battery from dead under 40 minutes. There's support for 15W wireless charging too, which is a rarity in this space.

Average Cameras

The only weak point of the Edge 30 Pro is its camera performance. The 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple camera setup is decent for casual photographers but it is not on par with a flagship Android phone's camera performance. The same can be said for its 60MP selfie camera.
