Motorola has been rumoured of working on a premium smartphone called ‘Nio'. So far the smartphone's specifications have been leaked, and we now have a look at its design.

Motorola Nio's leaked images were first spotted on Weibo and shared on Voice by Nils Ahrensmeier. The smartphone spotted here is the ‘Sky' colour variant which is light purple. There's also reportedly a ‘Beryl' colour variant for the Motorola Nio according to the Voice post.

The leaked images reveal dual punch hole cameras on the Motorola Nio. It has four rear cameras stacked in a square-shaped camera module. It will house a 64-megapixel primary camera with audio zoom. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the smartphone. Live images of the phone running have also been shared confirming dual SIM support. The phone listed here is however the Motorola Edge+.

Ahrensmeier also suggests that Motorola Nio could be the rumoured Motorola Edge S but there's no confirmation on this. In terms of specs, Motorola Nio will feature a full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor, and come in two memory variants of 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB.

The images revealed a quad-camera setup for the Motorola Nio but the smartphone has so far been leaked to feature triple rear cameras. The combination will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The dual front selfie cameras are rumoured to include a 16-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.
