New Nokia smartphones are coming on April 8, G and X-series devices expected
HMD Global is scheduled to have an event on April 8 and multiple new Nokia smartphones are expected to be launched. It is being expected that the Nokia G-series and the Nokia X-series smartphones are going to be launched at the event and we might see the Nokia G10 and G20 along with the Nokia X10 and X20 being launched. While the Nokia G series are going to be budget devices, the Nokia X series will come with 5G support.
The April 8 event is scheduled to take place at 7:30PM (IST) and will be streamed on HMD Global’s social media handles.
The Nokia G series devices to be launched on April 8 might be the Nokia G10 and the Nokia G20. The Nokia G10 is being pegged to come with the MediaTek Helio P22 and the G20 might come with the MediaTek Helio G35.
Both these devices might come with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage. They are also expected to run stock Android 11 out of the box. And they are also expected to come with a dedicated Google Assistant button.
On the camera end, the Nokia G10 and Nokia G20 is expected to come with a 48MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. For both, there might be an 8MP selfie camera on the front. These devices might also come with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging and an USB-C type port.
The Nokia X series devices might include the Nokia X10 5G and the Nokia X20 5G. Both the devices are expected to come with the Snapdragon 480 SoC. They are also expected to run stock Android 11. It is not known yet if they are going to come with a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The specifications of the Nokia X20 were leaked recently and we know that the smartphone is going to come with four cameras on the back. This will probably include a 48MP primary shooter, a 5MP ultra-wide, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. There might be a 16MP camera on the front for selfies.
