Nokia 215, Nokia 225 feature phones with 4G support launched
Nokia 215 and Nokia 225 feature phones come with LED flashlight, microSD card support for expandable storage, and FM radio.
Two new Nokia phones have launched in China. Called 215 and 225, new Nokia phones come with 4G support. The phones also support VoLTE and HD calls.
Nokia has not revealed full specifications of the phones yet. Based on the official renders, the feature phones come with a polycarbonate shell. The two phones also look identical to each other. Common features of the two phones include LED flashlight, microSD card support for expandable storage, and FM radio.
According to GSMArena, the Nokia 225 comes with a VGA camera on the back. The cheaper Nokia 215 does not have a camera on the back.
Nokia 215 comes in black and green colour options. Nokia 225 is available in black, blue, and gold colour options.
Nokia 225 is priced at CNY 349 ( ₹3,800 approximately) whereas Nokia 215 costs CNY 289 ( ₹3,150 approximately). Nokia 215 and Nokia 225 will go on sale on October 14 and October 17, respectively. There is no word on when the phones will be launched outside China.
Separately, HMD Global has released Android 11 update roadmap for Nokia smartphones. In the first wave of the roll-out, Android 11 will arrive on Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 2.2, and Nokia 8.1.
Nokia 1.3, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.4, Nokia 2.3, and Nokia 3.4 are scheduled to receive the Android 11 update in the first quarter of 2021. Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 will get the update in the third phase. Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 9 PureView will be the last to get the update, and that's in Q2, 2021.
