Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone expected to go on sale soon, all you need to know

Nokia 8.3 5G has been spotted on certification sites, and is said to go on sale in a few days.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone earlier this year. But the mid-range 5G Nokia phone hasn't gone on sale yet. With multiple sightings of the Nokia 8.3 5G recently, the smartphone is expected to be available soon, as early as next week.

Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global's Chief Product Officer shared a video on Twitter with the Nokia 8.3 5G. The video featured the ‘Polar Night' colour of the smartphone. Nothing new on the smartphone since it's already out but this hinted at the possibility of its commercial launch. Nokia 8.3 5G has also been popping up on certification sites of three markets so far.

Nokia 8.3 5G was recently spotted on Russian and European certification sites. It has now arrived on China's certification website as well. Two variants of Nokia 8.3 5G with the model numbers TA-1243 and TA-1251 have appeared on these sites. The smartphone has also been listed to go on sale in a few days for several countries such as Finland, Denmark and Poland. There's still no official word from HMD Global yet but with so many hints, it's likely the phone will arrive soon.

Nokia 8.3 comes with the highest number of 5G New Radio bands from 600hmz to 3.8GHz making it usable in any country. The 5G smartphone also supports both standalone and non standalone 5G combinations. Nokia 8.3 5G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G chipset, and it has a 6.8-inch display. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery.

On the Nokia 8.3 5G, there's a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It sports a 24-megapixel punch-hole camera for selfies.

In terms of pricing, Nokia 8.3 5G starts at 599 Euros ( ₹48,000 approx) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Nokia 8.3 5G also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which retails at 649 Euros ( ₹52,000 approx).
