Nokia 8.3 5G will hit shelves very soon, key things to know about the premium phone
Nokia 8.3 5G is inching closer to the commercial launch. Here are key specifications, features and other important things to know about the upcoming premium 5G phone.
HMD Global's Nokia 8.3 is ready to see the light of the day. The premium smartphone had launched in March this year alongside Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 5310 phones. Evidently, the sale of the 5G smartphone had been delayed.
Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global's Chief Product Officer last week shared a video of Nokia 8.3 5G highlighting the ‘Polar Night' colour variant. The video and recent leaks suggest the phone will be available for purchase very soon.
Before the sale commences, here are key things to know about the Nokia 8.3 5G.
Camera
One of the biggest highlights of the phone is the camera. The phone comes with as many as four rear cameras including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera comes with PureView branding and Zeiss optics.
Performance
As said earlier, Nokia 8.3 comes with 5G support. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. It comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM options. It has up to 128GB built-in storage. A 4,500mAh battery powers the phone.
Android One
Like other Nokia smartphone, Nokia 8.3 5G is also an Android One-based phone. This essentially means users get a stock Android interface. Running on Android 10, Nokia 8.3 5G is guaranteed to receive 2 years of Android upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates.
Price
Nokia 8.3 5G is available for a starting price of 599 euros for the 6GB/64GB variant ( ₹48,000 approximately). The top-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 649 euros ( ₹52,000 approximately).
