HMD Global has been working on quite a bunch of new Nokia smartphones. There have been reports suggesting imminent launches expected to take place as early as this month. A new report now details the launch timeline for five new Nokia phones including the flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView, Nokia 7.3 5G, Nokia 6.3, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4.
According to a report by NPU, HMD Global has completed development work of Nokia 9.3 PureView, Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.3 5G. The testing and production of these three Nokia phones are said to begin in September or October. Nokia 7.3 5G and Nokia 6.3 are expected to fall in the mid-range category. Based on this schedule, HMD Global should be able to launch the new Nokia phones in Q4 later this year. There’s still no official confirmation from HMD Global yet on any of these Nokia phones.
As for the other two phones, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4 are expected to launch sometime in September. Another Nokia phone expected to launch by the end of this month is the Nokia 8.3 5G which was unveiled earlier this year in March. HMD Global reportedly had issues due to the pandemic and hasn’t been able to commercially launch the Nokia 8.3 5G.
HMD Global is expected to launch the Nokia 5.3 in India soon. The smartphone has been listed on Nokia’s India website. Nokia 5.3 has already launched globally for a price of 189 euros ( ₹16,800 approx).
