Nokia G20 leaks hours before the official launch
Nokia G20 will debut alongside G10 later this evening. Here is what we know about the handset so far.
HMD Global is gearing for a launch event later this year. The company will reportedly launch a slew of new Nokia handsets. According to reports, it will also debut a new G-series of phones. Hours before the official launch, a Nokia G20 has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website.
According to the benchmark listing, the phone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box. It further reveals the phone has MediaTek’s MT6765 processor, also known as Helio P35. The chipset will be coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Older rumours claim Nokia G20 will come in 3GB/4GB and 32GB/64GB RAM and storage variants. You can also expect the phone to offer a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone will have a quad-camera setup on the back. The setup is said to be a combination of a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there might be an 8MP front-facing camera. Other leaked specifications are a 5,000mAh battery, USB Type-C, and 10W charging capacity.
Apart from Nokia G20, HMD Global will also launch Nokia C20, X20, X10, and G10 handsets.
Nokia C20 has also leaked in full glory ahead of the official launch. According to a recent listing, it will come with up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone will most likely run Android 11 out-of-the-box.
As far as the Nokia G10 goes, the handset is rumoured to come with MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor, 3GB of RAM, and run Android 11 out-of-the-box. It could also feature a 6.4-inch LCD. The X-series will be aimed at the premium segment. The X10 and X20 are likely to be 5G smartphones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
