Nokia X50 with Snapdragon 775 SoC, 108MP to launch later this year
HMD Global is not done with the new Nokia handsets yet. After having launched multiple phones under the X, C and G series, the company is reportedly working on a new high-end phone.
Dubbed as Nokia X50, the handset will come with a 108-megapixel camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 processor. According to Nokiapoweruser, the handset will release in the third quarter of this year.
As far as the Snapdragon 775 chip goes, the report says the processor will be an upgrade over the current Snapdragon 765G.
Apart from the camera and processor, the report also sheds light on the other specifications of the phone. It says Nokia X50 will come with a 6.5-inch display with QHD+ resolution and PureDisplay V4. The screen may offer up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with a 6,000mAh battery and 22W fast charging support.
The latest report comes days after HMD Global debuted the X-series alongside G-series and C-series. The Nokia X-series features two phones, X10 and X20. Both are premium-budget phones and come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. The two phones run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 480 5G processor. Common specifications include the Android 11 and 4,470mAh battery.
The Nokia X10 comes in 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 4GB+128GB variants. It sports a quad-rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it features an 8MP front-facing camera.
The Nokia X20 comes in 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB variants. It features a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. It has a 32MP front-facing camera.
