Nothing Phone (1) case leaks now! Is there any surprise left for launch day?
Nothing Phone (1) is barely a mystery now. In the weeks leading up to its launch, the tipsters and Nothing itself have revealed almost everything we need to know about the phone. This will broadly be a midrange Android smartphone with a standout “transparent” design having some solid specs aiming to deliver a solid user experience. Even the prices have been outed and it could give the upcoming Google Pixel 6a a tough time when it launches later this year. If you thought there could be nothing more leaking, you are mistaken.
A report from MySmartPrice has revealed the first official accessory for the Nothing Phone (1) and it is the TPU case. Many were wondering whether Nothing would simply sell a transparent case as seen in most Chinese smartphone boxes. However, the leaked renders shows a tastefully done transparent case for the black coloured Nothing Phone (1), having just enough cutouts for the necessary parts. The transparent section shows the fancy bits that Nothing has been proudly showing off.
Nothing Phone (1) case now leaks
What remains to be seen is whether Nothing packs this case in the box. Nothing has hinted that the Nothing Phone (1) retail box will not pack the charger inside and will only come with the phone. Maybe Nothing could do it a bit differently and offer the case in the box? After all, the front and rear will have Gorilla Glass panels, as suggested by the latest leaks.
The Nothing Phone (1) will be launching on July 12 and ahead of that, we already know a lot about the phone. The phone will be relying on the midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, which Nothing says has been enhanced with wireless charging capabilities specifically for the Nothing Phone (1).
Rumours also say that the phone will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The battery capacity is said to be of 4500mAh and there will be support for 45W wired charging and standard wireless charging. The camera setup will consist of a 50MP main rear camera and a 16MP ultrawide camera.
