Nothing Phone (1) is finally launching tonight! Not that there is any secrecy around it but fans of the brand have lots to look forward to. The Nothing Phone (1) is one of the most hyped smartphones of the year and the company has so far revealed some of the more exciting features, the chief among which is the Glyph interface – a fancy arrangement of notification lights spread all over its back. While we have only been shown the white version of the phone, leaks have also given us a glimpse of the black variant of the same.
Nonetheless, if you want to catch all the updates from the Nothing launch event, you can do so by heading over to the Nothing website, or their YouTube channel. Nothing will start the event from 8:30 PM IST, and alternatively, you can catch all the updates live from our HT Tech live blog. Know that while Nothing is only hinting a phone launch, we expect some accessory announcements as well as the event.
Nothing Phone (1) launch event tonight
Nothing is expected to mostly announce the Nothing Phone (1) in two colour variant. We will be covering all the updates from the event in our live blog; hence you can stay tuned for all the updates. Additionally, Nothing will also be updating everything on its social media channel.
Nothing, however, says that there's more to come at the launch event. Rumours had pointed out a Nothing power bank as well as a couple of accessories. A Nothing ear (1) Stick earbuds is also expected to be announced at the event.
Nothing Phone (1): What we know about it
The Nothing Phone (1) is likely to be an accessible midrange phone, although it won't be easy to buy it. Nothing is hosting an invite-only system for pre-orders in the beginning, wherein only a select people will get a chance to buy the Phone (1). Nothing says that this is done to help during the limited stock availability in the initial days.
As for the specs, the Nothing Phone (1) is said to rely on the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. The phone is rumoured to get a 6.5-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. A 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor will do duties of the main rear camera whereas the secondary camera will be a regular wide-angle camera. The phone is expected to feature a 4500mAh battery and could only support 33W wired fast charging.
