Oppo A74 5G, A74 smartphones launched
Oppo A74 comes in 4G and 5G variants but in different markets. Here's what the two new phones offer.
Oppo has launched two new smartphones from its A series. Oppo A74 has been made official in Cambodia, while its 5G variant has made its way to Thailand. Oppo A74 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, and Oppo A74 5G runs on the Snapdragon 480 processor.
Oppo has listed the A74 smartphone on its official Cambodia website but its pricing hasn't been revealed. But it has been listed on the website Shopee in the Philippines (via Gadgets360) with a price tag of PHP 11,999 ( ₹18,000). The smartphone has two colour options of Midnight Blue and Prism Black. As for the Oppo A74 5G, this one has been listed on two websites - Shopee and Lazada in Thailand. It's priced at THB 8,999 ( ₹21,000 approx). Oppo A74 5G will be available in two colour options of Fluid Black and Space Silver.
In terms of specs, Oppo A74 5G features a 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a quad camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. For selfies, there's a 16-megapixel front camera. Oppo A74 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. On the software front, it runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
The vanilla Oppo A74 comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display but the refresh rate is capped at 60Hz. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. The camera setup on Oppo A74 is the same as its 5G counterpart except that it's missing the 8-megapixel sensor. Oppo A74 also packs a 5,000mAh battery but with 33W fast charging support.
