Oppo A74 5G leaked specs reveal 48MP quad-camera, AMOLED display

Oppo is working on a new smartphone under its A-series. Dubbed as A74, the phone will be available in both 4G and 5G versions. Ahead of the official launch, the two models have appeared in numerous leaks. Now the Oppo A74 5G has been spotted on an online store, giving a closer look at key specifications and the design.
Let's talk about the design first. The handset has a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner. The back panel features a vertical camera module. The power button, which is likely to double as the fingerprint sensor, is located on the right edge.

According to the listing, Oppo A74 5G will have a 6.5-inch display. It will be an AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. In the photography department, the phone is said to come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, two 2-megapixel sensors, and one 8-megapixel sensor on the back.
For performance, the handset will rely on a Qualcomm 5G processor, rumoured to be Snapdragon 480 5G. It will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The phone is likely to come with an expandable storage slot (via microSD) as well. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and run on ColorOS 11.1 (based on Android 11).
That said, the 5G version looks like a significant upgrade over the 4G counterpart. According to older leaks, the Oppo A74 4G will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 663 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone is said to come with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The setup will also feature two 2-megapixel sensors for macro photography and depth. The front will house a full HD+ 6.43-inch LCD panel. There will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Separately, Oppo is gearing up for the launch of a new F-series phone in India. Scheduled to be unveiled on April 6, the upcoming F19 will come with a 5,000mAh battery, AMOLED punch-hole display with full HD+ resolution, and an eye-care-like display feature. Oppo has already launched F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ in India.
