Oppo A74 5G with 90Hz display, 5,000mAh battery launched in India

Oppo A74 5G also comes with a 48-megapixel triple rear camera, and a Snapdragon 480 processor.

Oppo on Tuesday launched the A74 5G smartphone in India. Oppo A74 5G comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor, a 90Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery. It's also the cheapest 5G smartphone offered by Oppo in India.

Oppo A74 5G is priced at 17,990, and it will be available on Amazon India and retail outlets from April 26 onwards. The smartphone comes in two colour options of Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple. There's a 10% instant discount on select credit and debit cards. Oppo is also offering the Enco W11, Oppo Band and W31 earbuds at reduced prices of 1,299, 2,499 and 2,499, respectively on purchasing the phone.

Oppo A74 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

In the photography department, Oppo A74 5G sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel punch-hole camera.

Oppo A74 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. On the software front, it runs ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock as well. It's also equipped with a multi-cooling system.
