Oppo will soon launch a new smartphone in India with ultra-thin design. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming F17 Pro.

Oppo on Friday announced it will soon launch F17 Pro in India. Known for its slim form factor, Oppo F17 Pro comes with a 7.48mm ultra-thin design and weighs about 164 grams.

“For the first time ever, OPPO F17 Pro will introduce a thin 220 Degree Edge to give users a more comfortable and smoother in-hand feel of the device. OPPO F17 Pro is designed with a rounded edge design technique allowing the light to refract at the rounded point giving the phone a thin and stylish appearance. The ultra-sleek body of the OPPO F17 Pro ensures that it easily slides into the pocket or can be tucked into the bag with ease without causing any bulge,” said the company in a release.

Oppo F17 Pro is already listed on Amazon India. Interested customers can register themselves for “notify me” alerts.

At the moment, not much is known about the Oppo F17 Pro. An official teaser, however, confirmed the phone will feature at least two cameras, which is very rare for contemporary phones. There are possibilities phones will have at least four camera sensors, says GSMArena.

Oppo F17 Pro will succeed the F15 which launched in January this year. Oppo’s F15 comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. It runs on MediaTek Helio P70 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It is powered by a 4,025mAh battery. The phone is available online for 17,000 approximately.

That said, Oppo has not shared an official launch date yet. We’re likely to find out more about the F17 Pro through official teasers in coming days.
